Following a 2-1 road win at Nashville SC on Sunday, Sporting Kansas City returns home to host reigning USL League One champions Union Omaha on Wednesday in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal round. Wednesday's match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Park and tickets are available online at SeatGeek.com. The first-ever match-up between the Midwestern clubs will air live on ESPN+ with local radio coverage available on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
On Saturday, Sporting Kansas City will resume the MLS regular season campaign with a nationally-televised Western Conference clash against Concacaf Champions League winners Seattle Sounders FC at 2 p.m. CT live on ABC and ESPN Deportes. Sporting KC pub partners across the Midwest will be showing the match including an enhanced watch party at Bar K (501 Berkley Pkwy) in Kansas City. Local radio broadcasts will also air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
JUNETEENTH JERSEY AUCTION
On Sunday, Sporting Kansas City players wore jerseys featuring Juneteenth-inspired numbers as part of a  league-wide initiative in partnership with Black Players for Change. The game-worn and player-signed jerseys, presented in commemorative boxes, are now available to fans via an online auction that launched today and will close on July 5. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Kansas City G.I.F.T. among other organizations supporting and uplifting black communities.
UMANA CONTINUES CONCACAF U-20 CHAMPIONSHIP
Sporting KC Academy forward Alex Umana has joined El Salvador for the 2022 Concacaf Under-20 Championship in Honduras. El Salvador opened the competition - which will qualify four teams to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and two teams to the 2024 Olympic Games -- with a 5-1 win over Guatemala on Sunday and will continue Group G play at 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday against Aruba before concluding the group stage at 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday against Panama live on TUDN.

SKC ACADEMY KICKS OFF MLS NEXT CUP PLAYOFFS
The Sporting Kansas City Academy U-15's and U-19's will travel to Texas to kick off the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs this weekend. The U-15's will first face Total Futbol Academy at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday, while the U-19's will open the competition against SF Glens at 11 a.m. CT on Sunday.
