After recording two straight home wins at Children's Mercy Park, Sporting Kansas City (5-2-3, 18 points) ended a busy week with a 2-0 defeat at Minnesota United FC on Sunday. Currently second in the Western Conference standings, Sporting KC will return to action Saturday with a visit to Orlando City SC (6-3-0, 18 points) at the new Orlando City Stadium.

The interconference clash will kick off at 6 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus and FOX Sports Midwest Plus while streaming live on FOX Sports GO, available to all pay-TV subscribers who receive FOX Sports Kansas City or FOX Sports Midwest in their cable package. Listeners can follow the action on ESPN 99.3 FM (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish), and The Final Whistle postgame show will air immediately after the match on 99.3 FM.

The Swope Park Rangers (4-2-0, 12 points) returned to winning ways with a 3-1 triumph over Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on Friday at Children's Mercy Victory Field inside Swope Soccer Village. Winners of nine straight at home dating back to 2016, the Rangers will hit the road Saturday to face Rio Grande Valley FC (3-3-0, 9 points) at 7:30 p.m. CT. The match will stream live on SportingKC.com.

A new episode of the Sporting KC Show will air at 8 p.m. CT Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine will recap a busy week for Sporting KC and look ahead to Saturday's showdown in Florida against Brazilian World Cup champion Kaka and Orlando City SC.

Sporting Kansas City is teaming up with Westlake Ace Hardware in May for the All-Star Patio Sweepstakes. One entrant will win Sporting KC merchandise, tickets to an upcoming match and a variety of patio essentials. Fans can enter the sweepstakes and learn more at SportingKC.com/westlakepatio.

Sporting KC midfielder Benny Feilhaber will appear at Westlake Ace Hardware in Olathe, Kansas (120 N. Clairborne) on Wednesday. The U.S. international and MLS All-Star midfielder will be available for autographs and photo opportunities with fans from 4:30-6 p.m. CT.

Sporting KC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City are teaming up in 2017 to recognize Blue KC Sporting Samaritans, honoring students and teachers who make the Kansas City community a better place to live, work and play. Once a month, a Samaritan will be recognized on the pitch at Children's Mercy Park before a Sporting KC home game. The Samaritan and up to three guests will receive a behind the scenes VIP experience, four tickets to the game, a parking pass and a $50 gift card redeemable for Sporting KC merchandise. Supporters can nominate members of their community to be the next Blue KC Sporting Samaritan at SportingKC.com/bluekc.

Single-game tickets for Sporting Kansas City’s home matches through July 6 are on sale to the general public at SeatGeek.com, the club’s new and official ticketing provider that allows supporters to buy, share and sell tickets easier than ever before.
