Sporting Kansas City returns home this weekend to face off against reigning Concacaf Champions League champions Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday night at Children’s Mercy Park.

Right back Kayden Pierre is the sole addition to the report as he’s set to miss the match with a hamstring injury. Club captain Johnny Russell has been upgraded to questionable as he nears his return from a hamstring issue.

In addition, the FIFA international window will cause both teams to miss players this weekend. Sporting KC will be without winger Marinos Tzionis who is with the Cyprus National Team, while Seattle are missing defenders Xavier Arreaga (Ecuador), Nouhou (Cameroon) and Alex Roldan (El Salvador), along with midfielders Reed Baker-Whiting (U.S. U-19s) and Obed Vargas (U.S. U-20s) and forward Raul Ruidiaz (Peru).
