Second-place Sporting Kansas City (8-3-2, 26 pts.) returns to action for the first time in 17 days tonight when the team plays host to the San Jose Earthquakes (3-7-3, 12 pts.) at Children’s Mercy Park.

  • QUESTIONABLE: Midfielder Judson (lower back), forward Carlos Fierro (left thigh), forward Benji Kikanovic (right thigh)

In addition, Sporting midfielder Gianluca Busio (United States) and forward Alan Pulido (Mexico) are both with their respective national team for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, while midfielder Felipe Hernandez is out for personal reasons. San Jose winger Cade Cowell and midfielder Jackson Yueill are also currently with Busio in USMNT camp.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT (7:38 p.m. CT actual kick) on Bally Sports KC, while Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM will carry the game locally on the radio.
