Sports Medicine Report: Sporting KC with few concerns ahead of #SKCvHOU

Sports Medicine Report is SportingKC.com’s look at the latest medical news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Sports Medicine Center at Children's Mercy. All medical issues listed are from the teams' official medical reports submitted prior to matchday.

Sporting Kansas City looks to make it three wins on the bounce tonight when the side hosts the Houston Dynamo in the club’s first home match at Children’s Mercy Park since a 4-0 victory over the Dynamo on March 7.

Sporting continues to enjoy a mostly clean bill of health, as only Felipe Gutierrez is not medically cleared to play. Gutierrez is out for the season following knee surgery earlier this summer.

Houston arrive in Kansas City with Michael Salazar out with a knee injury, while defender Victor Cabrera, midfielder Boniek Garcia and forward Mauro Manotas are all questionable with thigh issues.

Kickoff from Children’s Mercy Park is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus, while Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM will carry the game locally on the radio.
