Sporting Kansas City returns home this week after a pair of tough road games over the previous two weeks as Sporting plays host to longtime rivals Real Salt Lake at Children’s Mercy Park tonight. Sporting quartet Uri Rosell, Johnny Russell, Daniel Salloi and Khiry Shelton all remained questionable for the match as of Wednesday’s Player Availability Report deadline.

  • QUESTIONABLE: Defender Aaron Herrera (Right calf), defender Marcelo Silva (Right toe), midfielder Damir Kreilach (Left calf), forward Sergio Cordova (Right knee)

In addition, with tonight’s clash taking place during a FIFA international window, duo Logan Ndenbe (Belgium U-21s) and Marinos Tzionis (Cyprus) will miss the game after linking up with their respective national teams earlier this week. Salt Lake will be without winger Justin Meram who was called up to the Iraq national team.
