Sports Medicine Report - Oct. 23, 2021

Sports Medicine Report is SportingKC.com’s look at the latest health update regarding the team ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Sports Medicine Center at Children's Mercy. All health issues listed are from the teams' official player availability reports submitted approximately 48 hours prior to kickoff.

Sporting Kansas City (15-7-7, 52 pts.) is set for a top-of-the-table clash this afternoon when the team takes on Western Conference leaders Seattle Sounders FC (17-6-7, 58 pts.) at Lumen Field.

Both sides will be without key attacking players, as Sporting forward Alan Pulido recovers from knee surgery while MVP candidate Daniel Salloi is listed as questionable ahead of the match with an ankle injury. Seattle will be without star forward Raul Ruidiaz along with pacey winger Jordan Morris who has returned to training following an ACL injury but is still out for today’s match.
