Lebo Moloto vs. Colorado Springs - June 21, 2017

The Swope Park Rangers announced Tuesday that the club has traded midfielder Lebo Moloto to USL expansion side Nashville SC in exchange for future considerations, pending league and federation approval.

Moloto, 27, departs the club after one season in Kansas City having helped the Rangers reach the USL Cup Final for the second consecutive year. The South Africa native made 33 appearances for the Rangers in 2017 across both regular and postseason play, placing third on the team in both goals (7) and assists (4).

Following Tuesday’s trade, SPR now has six players under contract ahead of the 2018 USL season: goalkeeper Darrin MacLeod, defenders Dakota Barnathan and Parker Maher and midfielders Felipe Hernandez, Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal and Will Little.
