TBT: Mr. November

TBT: Mr. November -

With Sporting KC's season on the line last night, there were any number of players who could have been the hero. Sporting KC was tied 1-1 on the evening but down 2-1 on aggregate. Needing one goal to send the match to a 30-minute overtime, Sporting KC turned to one of the unlikeliest of sources.

HIGHLIGHTS: Sinovic Goal

As Aurelien Collin prepared to send a long ball into the New England Revolution penalty box, Seth Sinovic darted up the left flank. Graham Zusi won the header and re-directed the ball into the path of the surging Sinovic. The Kansas City native wasted no time lacing a shot to the far post past Matt Reis.

But should Sinovic's goal surprise anyone?

If you recall, it was only one year ago that the 26-year-old defender recorded his first professional goal in a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo in the second leg of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series.

So with Sinovic doubling his goal scoring total and Sporting KC set to take on the Dynamo in this year's Eastern Conference Championship, we give you Sinovic's celebration from his first professional goal as this week's Throwback Thursday.
