Jack’s journey took an unexpected turn during his freshman year of high school when persistent back pain forced him to step away from wrestling. After months of appointments and testing, he was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin lymphoma in September 2025. Following six months of chemotherapy, a May 2026 biopsy confirmed that he is in full remission, and his heart function has thankfully returned to normal.
Today, Jack is focused on getting back to the things he loves, including jiu-jitsu, and hopes to run track or try lacrosse. Throughout his journey, his friends and community have shown him incredible love and support. His friends even shaved their heads alongside him and were there to keep him company when he needed them most. Jack and his family feel incredibly blessed and grateful for everyone who has supported him along the way.
