Sylvia was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2024 when she was only 3 years old. She is now halfway through her two-and-a-half-year treatment, with her final chemotherapy planned for July 2026. So far, she has had 14 spinal taps, spent 20 days in the hospital, and visited the infusion clinic nearly 50 times. Despite all this, she is responding well to treatment.
Sylvia is the youngest sister of three and has just started kindergarten. She brings joy to everyone she meets. She loves swimming and dancing, and she especially likes cats and pigs. Sylvia enjoys playing with Barbies, dressing up, and collecting rocks. Her family says she is shy, caring, and fun. Her favorite foods include gummy candies, strawberries, and bacon.
