Tickets for the 2014 Big 12 Soccer Championship are now available at Big12sports.com/buytickets or by calling 888-4KC-GOAL. The Championship will take place Nov. 5, 7 and 9 at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City.
Day passes are on sale for $9 with three-day tournament passes available for $14. A 15-ticket group package is also available for $90.
Sporting Club and the University of Kansas will again co-host this year’s championship, which will feature the Big 12’s top eight teams competing for the Conference’s postseason title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship.
In conjunction with the 2014 Big 12 Soccer Championship, the 2014 National Women’s Soccer League champion FC Kansas City will also host a free youth clinic on Nov. 8 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. CT at the Swope Soccer Village. A new educational session will also be held during the clinic where parents will have the opportunity to learn the importance of concussion awareness as well as how to create a positive environment for young athletes. The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds of the championship will be streamed live on Big12Sports.com, while the championship match will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
In 1996, the inaugural Big 12 Soccer Championship was held at St. Louis’ Anheuser-Busch Conference and Sports Centre. From 1997 to 2012 San Antonio’s Blossom Soccer Stadium hosted the event. This year’s championship at Swope Soccer Village will be the second hosted in Kansas City.
