Tickets on sale next week for Sporting KC match against English Premier League’s Manchester City

Tickets for Sporting Kansas City’s international friendly against English Premier League club Manchester City on July 23 at Sporting Park will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT on April 25 and will be available via Ticketmaster.com.


Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members can secure their current regular season seat location(s) during the right of first refusal window beginning at 10 a.m. CT on April 21. All Season Ticket Members will be invoiced through their online Sporting KC Account Manager and must complete the invoice prior to 10 a.m. CT on April 24.

Season Ticket Members will also have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets during an exclusive pre-sale via Ticketmaster.com beginning at 12 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 24 and ending at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, April 25. During this pre-sale, the maximum number of seats that can be purchased for the friendly is limited to the total number of regular season tickets associated with the Season Ticket Member’s account and is subject to availability.

The highly anticipated international friendly will be Manchester City’s first against an MLS club since winning the English Premier League in 2012, as well as the first on their tour of the United States this summer. Tickets start at $50 for the showcase event in Sporting Kansas City’s Summer in the Soccer Capital series, presented by Sprint.

Manchester City FC, Premier League champions in 2012 and runners-up in 2013, are currently positioned for their fifth consecutive top-five finish in the world’s most-watched league and are vying for a berth in their fourth straight UEFA Champions League tournament. Led by manager Manuel Pellegrini, the Manchester City roster features 14 players who helped their countries qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
