TUNE IN: Watch Sporting's opening match of Leagues Cup 2023 free on Apple TV at 6:30 p.m. CT on Sunday

Sporting Kansas City will kick off play in Leagues Cup 2023 when the club visits MLS Supporters' Shield leaders FC Cincinnati at 6:30 p.m. CT on Sunday in the team's first ever trip to TQL Stadium.

The inaugural edition of the Leagues Cup competition will feature all 47 clubs from MLS (29 teams) and LIGA MX (18 teams) in a World Cup-style tournament from July 21-August 19 with the top three teams qualifying for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.

The opening match for Group 3 of the Central Region between Sporting KC and FC Cincinnati will be free to watch on Apple TV in English and Spanish via MLS Season Pass. In addition, local radio coverage will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with streams in the Sporting KC app.  All of the action will also be shown by pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network, including an enhanced watch party on Sunday at Jefferson's (14944 W 87th St.) in Lenexa, Kansas.

WATCH FREE ON APPLE TV

CINvSKC will stream free via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English (Dre Cordero and Jamie Watson) and Spanish (Pablo Ramirez and Jesus Bracamontes). The pre-match show is scheduled to start at 6:10 p.m. CT and the broadcast will conclude with a post-match wrap up to recap all the action.

Fans in over 100 countries and regions are able to watch MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, which is available on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices from Roku, Amazon, and Google, game consoles, and the web at tv.apple.com.

Fans can also enjoy all the action at each of the club's pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network, including an enhanced watch party at Sunday at Jefferson's (14944 W 87th St.) in Lenexa, Kansas featuring $8 domestic pitchers, $4 blue shots and a $30 special for 20 wings and a Bud Light pitcher.

Sunday's showdown will be available in English on Sports Radio 810 WHB (Aly Trost Martin and Jacob Peterson) and in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM (Diego Gutierrez, Emmily Infante & Josue Orantes) with both stations streaming live through the Sporting KC app. Sports Radio 810 WHB will also carry The Final Whistle post-match show to recap the result.
