U.S. Soccer application window open for A-Senior and B License coaching courses in Kansas City

The application window for U.S. Soccer's upcoming A-Senior and B License coaching education courses at Compass Minerals National Performance Center in Kansas City, Kan., is now open and will close on Monday, Sep. 19 at 12 p.m. CT.

U.S. Soccer’s top priority is the health and safety of its players, coaches, and staff. The Federation is committed to following the health practices outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Soccer Return to Play protocols.

“The A-Senior course continues to evolve and grow. The curriculum, aimed at the college and professional coaching environments, is representative of the continued growth of the game”, says Director of Coaching Education Didier Chambaron. “We are pleased the B course continues to expand into new markets,” adds Chambaron.

The A-Senior course will have three in-person meetings during a 10-month period, while B courses will be held through a six-month period with two in-person meetings. Those in-person meetings will be over three nights.

In addition to in-person meetings, virtual interaction and learning will take place on a weekly basis. Students will take part in large group, small group and individual webinars.

Female coaches accepted to the A-Senior and B License courses will have 50 percent of tuition covered by the Jill Ellis Scholarship Fund, established to increase the number of female coaches in the United States. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the SheChampions Coaching Mentorship Program, currently in the midst of its third year providing aspiring coaches with experienced mentors to guide them on their educational journey.
