Sporting KC will unveil the club's new secondary jersey and team captain at Sporting Takeoff, presented by Ivy Fund. Doors open to the public at 5:30 p.m. CT and a boarding pass is required to attend (reservations are now closed). All in attendance will be entered for a chance to win the MLS Cup trophy for a day among other prizes and can participate in a silent auction to benefit The Victory Project.

Sporting KC at Seattle Sounders

Sporting Kansas City kicks off the 2014 Major League Soccer season at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday when they take on the Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field. The match will be nationally televised on NBCSN and locally broadcast on La Gran D 1340 AM in Spanish. The club will host the official watch party at Johnny's Tavern in the Power & Light District.
