SPORTING KC OPENS 2013-14 CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP STAGE AGAINST REAL ESTELI TONIGHT
Sporting Kansas City faces Nicaraguan side, Real Esteli FC in their opening CONCACAF Champions League match on Wednesday. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. CT and be broadcast live on FOX Soccer Plus and Fox Soccer 2Go.
Real Esteli is the sole Nicaraguan side to have ever qualified for the club championships and has done so every year since 2008-09. Sporting KC makes their third appearance in the tournament, with their best showing in 2002 when the club advanced to the semifinals.

Sporting KC will play CD Olimpia in their second match of CCL on Tuesday, August 27 before closing out the group stage with home matches against Real Estelí on September 17 and Olimpia on October 2.

SPORTING KC HOSTS THE NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION AT SPORTING PARK ON SATURDAY
Sporting KC meets the New England Revolution on Saturday for the second time in 2013. The clubs drew 0-0 earlier this year at Gillette Stadium.
The Revolution are coming off a 1-0 defeat to Toronto FC. Sporting KC is also coming off a loss, suffering a 3-2 defeat against the New York Red Bulls at Sporting Park.

#VOTESPORTING: JIMMY NIELSEN UP FOR SAVE OF THE WEEK
Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen has been nominated for MLS Save of the Week for Week 23.
The White Puma is nominated for his 15th-minute save on Johnny Steele in last weekend's match versus the New York Red Bulls. The nomination is Nielsen's second in back-to-back weeks. Voting is open through Thursday evening. Click here to vote.
ERIK PALMER-BROWN DEBUTS ON THE SPORTING KC SHOW
Sporting Kansas City announced on Friday the signing of 16-year-old Homegrown defender Erik Palmer-Brown. The Lee's Summit-native becomes the youngest signing in club history and is the only player born in 1997 currently on a team's roster in Major League Soccer.

Sporting KC announced that individual tickets for the final five MLS home matches are on sale now. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com or at the Sporting Park Box Offices.
SINGLE-DAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR FLATLANDS FESTIVAL
Single-day tickets for the Flatlands Country Music Festival at Sporting Park from Sept. 12-14 are on sale to the general public, starting as low as $59 each. The new country music and camping festival, presented by Marquee Events and Sporting Club, will feature performances from several of the most popular artists in country music over three days.
Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Rodney Atkins, Thompson Square and Kevin Fowler will perform on Friday, Sept. 13. Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Love and Theft, and JT Hodges will then take the stage on Sat., Sept. 14.

SPORTING KC SEASON TICKETS SOLD OUT FOR 2013 SEASON
Sporting Kansas City announced that the club's allotment of 14,000 season tickets for the 2013 season at Sporting Park are sold out. Prospective Season Ticket Members may join the club's Season Ticket Member waiting list by placing a $50 non-refundable deposit per season ticket request.
Sporting Kansas City currently leads all MLS teams in the total number of new Season Ticket Members for 2013 and have averaged over a 90% Season Ticket Member renewal rate for the last three seasons.
Sporting Kansas City are also selling five-game 'Pick Plans.' All plans include the five Sporting KC matches of the buyer's choice, including CONCACAF Champions League or any of the remaining MLS regular season games.
2014 RENEWAL CAMPAIGN
Beginning Saturday, August 3 Sporting KC supporters can now renew their season tickets. The First Touch Campaign will continue through Saturday, August 31 and add extra incentives for Sporting KC fans who renew early.
Renewals can be processed online through Sporting Kansas City Account Manager or by contacting your Client Services Executive directly. The last day to guarantee your current seat location is Friday, September 27.
SPORTING PARK TO HOST U.S. MNT IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER
Sporting Park will host the U.S. Men's National Team on Oct. 11 in the team's final home qualifying match for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The USMNT returns to Sporting Park to play Jamaica, live on the ESPN family of networks, WatchESPN and UniMas at 8 p.m. CT. Ticket information will be released at a later date.
Sporting Park, home to Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City, will host the U.S. Men's National Team for the third time since opening in June 2011. The state-of-the-art, $200+ million venue recently hosted the 2013 MLS All-Star Game on July 31.
