Sporting KC winger Graham Zusi and defender Chance Myers will be at the Sprint store in Overland Park (95th & Quivira) today from 4-6 p.m. Myers and Zusi will be signing autographs and interacting with fans in attendance. In addition, the first 150 customers who purchase an item in-store will receive this limited edition Unlimited Sporting Kansas City T-Shirt.
Zusi and Myers have become staples of a Sporting KC club that has been one of the most successful MLS teams in recent years. Myers has appeared more than 100 times for Kansas City since being drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. The California native has battled injuries in 2013 but recovered to start the last six matches and help Sporting KC to a 4-0-2 record during that span.
Zusi is in the midst of another standout season for Sporting KC after earning MLS Breakout Player of the Year honors in 2011 and being named an MLS MVP finalist in 2012. The Orlando native has four goals and six assists in 19 games this season and has also featured in eight of the U.S. Men's National Team's previous nine World Cup qualifiers.
