2020: Spent the opening portion of preseason with the Colorado Rapids before joining Sporting KC II after being released from the MLS club’s camp. Started six of 11 appearances during the USL Championship season, recording one goal and one assist. Made his professional debut as a substitute in the season opening 2-1 loss to the Charlotte Independence (March 8). Tallied the game-winning assist in the 1-0 victory at Indy Eleven (Aug. 1) before scoring his first professional goal the following game in a 1-1 draw at Saint Louis FC (Aug. 5).
2019: Spent preseason with Sporting Kansas City II but did not sign with the club.
College: Mushagalusa competed for Salt Lake Community College where he plundered home 27 goals and three assists in one season in Utah. Mushagalusa had committed to transfer to the University of South Carolina in 2020 prior to signing with Sporting II.
Youth: Mushagalusa was a longtime member of the Colorado Rapids Academy, tallying 53 goals in 85 USSDA appearances as he rose from the club’s Under-15 side to the Under-19s.
