Career Summary

2020: J. Rad was added to the Sporting II roster on an Academy contract and set a career high with seven appearances in the shortened 16-game schedule, including three starts where SKC II went 2-1-0. His starts came at Indy Eleven (Aug. 1), at Austin Bold FC (Sept. 22) and at Indy Eleven (Sept. 30). J. Rad also received a red card in the 3-1 loss to Saint Louis FC (Aug. 15).

2019: J. Rad made three appearances for Sporting II while on an Academy contract, including one start in a road loss against Nashville SC (May 11).

2018: J. Rad made his professional debut as a substitute against Sacramento Republic FC at home on July 10 before earning his first professional start at Children’s Mercy Park in a match against Orange County SC on July 18.

SKC Academy: Jahon Rad joined the Sporting KC Academy at the start of the 2016-17 USSDA season alongside his twin brother, Kaveh Rad – who is also on the Sporting II roster. J. Rad was previously a part of the North Carolina FC Academy in his native state. He made 88 appearances for the Academy, including 15 in the curtailed 2019-20 season for the U-19s.
