Career Summary

2017: Played in 29 games, starting 21, all at left back for the Rangers. Maher recorded two assists, coming in the season opener against OKC Energy FC on March 25 – a 3-1 victory – and in another 3-1 win over Tulsa Roughnecks FC on June 11. Maher ranked second on the team with 71 tackles throughout the season, and led the team with 60 tackles won. He also won the third most duels on the team with 141.

2016: Made 22 appearances for Saint Louis FC before suffering a groin injury in a 1-1 draw with the Swope Park Rangers on Aug. 3 and missed the remainder of the season. Maher had played every game up until his injury, playing the full 90 minutes in 15 of his 22 appearances. Tallied 13 shots with four on goal, and was shown one yellow card.

2015: Played in all 28 games for Saint Louis FC in his rookie season, starting 25 and scoring one goal in a 2-1 victory over the Charlotte Independence on July 4. Maher made his professional debut against Louisville City FC on March 28, playing the full 90 minutes. He placed third on the team in minutes played with 2,188 and was fifth in shots (18) and shots on goal (10).

College: Maher attended Missouri State University where he made 72 appearances across four years, scoring once and adding six assists. Maher was a NSCAA Scholar All-North/Central Region Second Team Selection as a junior and earned All-MVC Second Team, MVC All-Tournament, NSCAA/Continental Tire All-West Region Third Team and NSCAA Scholar All-North/Central Region First Team honors in his senior year as Missouri State fell in overtime of the MVC Championship Match.
