Single-game tickets for Sporting Kansas City’s first eight home matches of the 2012 MLS season at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Feb. 17, the club announced on Tuesday.
Individual match tickets for each of the opening eight home games on the Sporting KC schedule -- beginning with the highly anticipated home opener on Saturday, March 17 and continuing through the visit from rivals Chicago Fire on Friday, June 29 -- will be available for
purchase on Ticketmaster.com
or at the
LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Box Offices
(open Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT).
Current Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for all 17 regular season home matches at discounted Members pricing and will have access to acquire their single-game tickets in advance through a special two-day pre-sale, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. CT on Monday, Feb. 13 and end at 10:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Additionally, Sporting Club Members will be able to secure seats at Members pricing for any of the first eight regular season home matches via a pre-sale from 10:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 15 through 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 16. Fans are encouraged to become a Sporting Club Member by visiting www.JoinSporting.com and registering prior to the pre-sale.
Wyandotte County residents may also purchase single-game tickets for the designated eight home matches prior to the general public by taking advantage of their pre-sale window from 10:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 15 through 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 16.
Single-game tickets for Sporting Kansas City’s final nine regular season MLS home matches, beginning with the Eastern Conference Championship rematch with the Houston Dynamo on July 7, are expected to go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 1.
All 17 Sporting Kansas City regular season MLS home matches, plus three additional special games to be announced later, are included in 2012 Sporting Kansas City season ticket packages. Call 888-4KC-GOAL to purchase a 2012 season ticket package.
The team also recently unveiled two options for half-season ticket packages, both of which include a ticket to the home opener among the 10-games offered. Those packages start at $210 and are available in six seating categories throughout the stadium.
Sporting Kansas City announced last week that season tickets are sold out in the 2,000-person capacity Members’ Stand at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park for the 2012 MLS season. An extremely limited number of single-game tickets will be available in the section on a game-by-game basis.
