Take Two: SKC vs. SLSG

After going unbeaten at home against St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro earlier this month, the Sporting Kansas City Juniors will now travel across Missouri to take on St. Louis Scott Gallagher Missouri on Saturday in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. The cross-state rivalry attracted the attention of TopDrawerSoccer.com, as they featured the match-up in their
Academy Weekend Preview
with comments from SKC Juniors Director of Coaching Jon Parry.

The Under-18's (1-0-0, 5-3-0) will take on a SLSG side that is 3-2-2 overall in the 2011-2012 season and will be playing their first match in the Central Conference's Frontier Division. The match kicks off at 2 p.m. CT. Prior to that game, the Under-16's (0-0-1, 2-2-4) will have a tough test against an SLSG Missouri squad that is unbeaten through seven matches in the USSDA with a 4-0-3 record.

Both games will be played on Field 1 at the SLSG Facility. Follow @SKCJuniors & @SLSGSoccer for updates and check back right here on the Junior Way for a full recap on Monday.
