The Sporting Kansas City U13 and U14 Juniors will wrap-up play in the Midwest Developmental League's Great Lakes Division this weekend with a road trip to Milwaukee to face the last two remaining teams on their regular season schedule. On Saturday, they visit the FC Milwaukee Nationals at FC Milwaukee Soccer Park before taking on the Milwaukee Bavarians Juniors on Sunday at Bavarian Soccer Park.
The Under-13 Juniors are sitting in a tie for second place in their division with a 7-1-1 record (and +30 goal differential), while the U14's are 4-4-1 and could climb as high as third with the right results. The 2011-12 MDL Playoffs will be held in Libertyville, Illinois from July 6-8 with the top three teams in each division (Great Lakes and Erie) of the Midwest Developmental League automatically qualifying. The next two teams, based on points per game, from either division, will also qualify as wildcard berths.
