Sporting KC U16's defender Erik Palmer-Brown at the Development Academy Winter Showcase
It's a big night for the Sporting Kansas City Juniors youth development academy as Sporting Kansas City hosts FC Dallas in the MLS Reserve League. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. CT at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park (6310 Lewis Rd., Kansas City, MO) and there will be several Juniors players on the matchday roster!
Sporting Kansas City defender Kevin Ellis and goalkeeper Jon Kempin -- both products of the Juniors academy -- are each expected to be in the First XI, while former Juniors member and 2012 draft pick Kyle Miller will be on the bench. Joining Kyle on the substitutes list will be THREE current Sporting Kansas City Juniors players. For the second straight Reserve League match, U18 goalkeeper Jacole Turner will be on the bench in backup, along with the addition of U16's teammates Erik Palmer-Brown and David Leichty for Sporting Kansas City.
