Congrats to U16 Juniors member
David Leichty
on making his first appearance for the Sporting Kansas City senior squad! He entered the team's 2-2 draw in the MLS Reserve League against FC Dallas in the 77th minute last night at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park. The Shawnee Mission South High School junior replaced striker Soony Saad and was on the field as Sporting KC rookie Dom Dwyer scored the game-tying goal in the 87th minute.

Leichty has started seven games for the U16's in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy this season and was a Kansas Soccer Coaches Association Class 6A First Team All-State midfielder this fall.
