The Sporting Kansas City Under-16 and Under-18 Juniors each recorded 2-0 victories over St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro on Saturday at the SLSG Facility. The U18's opened the doubleheader and got a pair of goals from striker Eduardo Moreno. The Liberal, KS native struck in the 30th and 90th minutes to give him nine goals during the 2011-12 Development Academy season, most on the team and most of any player in the Frontier Division. Goalkeepers Evan Wright and Jacole Turner combined for a half each in the shutout.

The U16's followed suit with a 2-0 win of their own on goals from Seo-In Kim in the 31st minute and Cole Stevenson, assisted by Joe Amico, in the 67th minute. Goalkeeper -- and aspiring vocalist -- Andrew Dittemore earned the shutout in net for the Juniors, who improve to 3-2-5 in the Frontier Division and 5-4-8 overall.
