The Sporting Kansas City Under-13 Juniors will play for the Kansas State Cup final at 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the Overland Park Soccer Complex. The U13's opened the tournament on Friday with a 5-0 win over KPSL KCFC Magic and secured a top finish in Bracket A with a 4-0 win over Wichita Cyclones FC on Saturday. Advancing to the semifinals on Sunday, the Juniors were pitted against Blue Valley SC and earned a 3-0 victory to secure their berth in the championship match against Kansas Rush.
Matt Trumpp's team is yet to allow a goal through three games in the tournament and has struck 12 times to lead all teams in the U13 Boys division. Click here for the schedule and group standings.
