The Sporting Kansas City under-13 Juniors won the 2012 Kansas State Cup on Tuesday and qualified for the U.S. Soccer Midwest Regional Championships. Matt Trumpp's team were 2-0 winners over Kansas Rush at the Overland Park Soccer Complex, completing a State Cup performance in which they scored 14 goals in four games and never conceded a goal.
The
U.S. Youth Soccer Midwest Championships
will be held from June 23-27 in Saginaw, Michigan featuring the best teams from Region II.
