Sporting Park. Next time your mobile device flashes the low battery alert at LSP, you're in luck.
Thanks to Sprint and inCharge, a Kansas City-based start-up company founded by Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Member Bryan Richard, you can plug your phone into one of four charging stations conveniently located throughout the venue and available at no cost. In addition to the Sprint charging station located in the concourse on the north end of the stadium, inCharge will set-up three new charging stations, powered by Sprint, near the Budweiser Corner, Members' Club and Shield Club.
The new stations will be accessible beginning at Friday's game and support approximately 95% of phones in the United States, including iPhones, Android-based devices, micro- and USB-chargers and more. The multi-sided stations will provide power at the standard charging rate and can be connected to a minimum of 16 devices at a time per location.
