Sporting Kansas City U16 Academy defender Erik Palmer-Brown was one of 19 players named to the United States Under-15 Boys' National Team on Monday for the Tournament Delle Nazioni, U.S. Soccer announced. Head coach Tony Lepore will lead the squad in the 12-team international tournament held in Grandisca, Italy from April 26 – May 6.
Palmer-Brown is currently attending the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla. for the Spring Semester. The Lee's Summit, Mo. resident last joined the United States U-15 National Team in September 2012 for a training camp.
The U.S. will compete in Group A and open the tournament against hosts Italy on April 30 before playing Chile on May 2 and Slovenia on May 3. The semifinals will take place May 4 with the winners advancing to the championship match on May 5.
