Fishnet Security supports The Victory Project

Fishnet Security supports The Victory Project -

Instead of waiting for Casual Friday, FishNet Security allowed employees to wear denim on a Thursday for a good cause. Every month, the company chooses a charity to donate to and support. FishNet chose Sporting Kansas City’s Victory Project as May’s charity recipient. To raise money, employees donated $5 each to wear denim on Thursday, May 30.

To strengthen support, the company planned a Fiesta de Mayo to benefit the project. At the fiesta, employees could buy raffle tickets for a chance to win a basket filled with Sporting Kansas City goodies, including flags, a scarf, a signed soccer ball and tickets to a home game. Proceeds from the basket went to The Victory Project as well. Counting all donations, the company raised approximately $1,000 to help kids in the Kansas City area battling cancer and in need of financial assistance for treatment.
