MLS WORKS and SKC team up to unveil futsal courts

Major League Soccer selected Sporting Kansas City to host the MLS All-Star game, and in turn both gave back to the community this week. Sporting Kansas City and MLS Works joined together to turn abandoned tennis courts into brand new futsal courts at Wyandotte High School.

MLS All-Stars Matt Besler, Aurelien Collin, Jack McInerney, Will Johnson, Thierry Henry, and Landon Donovan attended the dedication to spend time with the youth teams there. Kansas City, KS mayor Mark Holland spoke, along with Sporting Kansas City owner Robb Heineman, and MLS Commissioner Don Garber, about the importance and impact the new courts will have on the community.
