Dwyer named to USL Pro All League first team -

Sporting KC forward Dom Dwyer may have only played 13 league games for the Orlando City Soccer Club, but the England-born striker left quite the impression on the rest of the USL Pro soccer division. Despite his short stint in USL Pro, Dwyer was named to the USL Pro All League first team on Tuesday. He was joined on the first team by Orlando City teammates Jaime Watson and Rob Valentino.

In less than half a season, Dwyer set a league record with 15 goals scored and added three more in the U.S. Open Cup before Sporting KC recalled the second-year striker in late June. Since returning to Sporting KC, Dwyer has appeared in 12 matches in all competitions and has tallied two goals and one assist. Dwyer's goal against Real Esteli in the CONCACAF Champions League was nominated for CCL Goal of the Week.

Orlando City will play for the USL Pro championship on Saturday when they host the Charlotte Eagles at the Citrus Bowl at 7:30 p.m.
