Seth Sinovic rated No. 1 left back by Soccer America

It's been a banner year for Seth Sinovic. The Kansas City native set career highs in games played (32), game started (31) and minutes (2,773). He also tallied a career-best three assists, which all proved to be game-winners.

In the playoffs, Sinovic scored the game-tying goal in Sporting KC's Eastern Conference Semifinal series with the New England Revolution, his second playoff goal in as many years. The Rockhurst High School grad also converted his penalty kick past Nick Rimando in the MLS Cup penalty kick shootout.

And to top it all off, Sinovic featured in the KC Ballet's The Nutcracker last Sunday.

So it's no surprise that Soccer America rated Sinovic the No. 1 left back in MLS. Sinovic starred at left back for a Sporting KC defense that allowed a paltry 30 goals in the regular season. Sinovic also started all four CONCACAF Champions League group stage matches, leading Sporting KC to first place in the group with a 2-0-2 record and only one goal allowed.
