SCN: Blues rugby to host international match

In May, the Kansas City Blues rugby team -- a Sporting Club Network member -- will welcome international opponent Queensland Outback Barbarians from New South Wales, Australia to Kansas City for what is certain to be an exciting match. Currently standing at 9-3 on the season, the Blues are contending for a playoff spot in the USA Rugby D1 National Playoffs with only two regular season conference games remaining.

Fans are encouraged to come out and support The Blues as they take on the Barbarians on May 10th inside the championship stadium at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd., KCMO). Prior to the Blues kick-off, fans are also welcome to attend an exhibition featuring youth rugby players from Heartland Youth Rugby. This exhibition match is set to begin at 6:40 p.m. CT with the Blues kicking off against their Aussie opponents at 7:30 p.m. CT.
