For the second time in three seasons, Manchester City FC are champions of the English Premier League.
Manchester City claimed the 2013/14 EPL title on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over West Ham in front of their home supporters at Etihad Stadium, setting the stage for a clash of league champions when Sporting Kansas City and Manchester City meet on July 23 at Sporting Park.

Samir Nasri and captain Vincent Kompany scored the decisive goals on Sunday, sealing a first place finish for Manchester City by a two-point margin over runners-up Liverpool.

The Premier League's transfer window begins at midnight tonight and will remain open until September 1. Manchester City have been recently linked with a move to acquire FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi, the World Player of the Year in four consecutive years from 2009-2012.
