The Victory Project hosts fundraiser clinics

Every year, The Victory Project along with Sporting KC players and Sporting Club Network coaches, host a fundraiser soccer clinic to help raise money for the foundation. This year, due to the great response by fans, two clinics were held. Each clinic was held at Sporting Park where kids between the ages of 6-12 learned soccer skills from their favorite players and coaches while their families cheered them on from the stands.
Each evening the children checked in to receive their Victory Project Soccer clinic t-shirt and once out on the pitch, players were there to greet them and were positioned at different stations. The kids rotated around the stations which included shooting, dribbling and scrimmaging as well as a question-and-answer opportunity. The clinics concluded with time for the kids to get autographs and take pictures with the players and the chance to tour the locker room and interview room.
Overall, the two clinics raised almost $15,000 for The Victory Project and provided 200 kids with an incredible occasion to learn more about soccer and Sporting Kansas City. For more information on The Victory Project or upcoming events check out the
