Sporting Kansas City kicks off their quest for the CONCACAF Champions League title on Tuesday in Nicaragua when the reigning MLS Cup champions take on Real Esteli at 9 p.m. CT at Estadio Independencia. The match will air live on FOX Soccer Plus or via FOX Soccer 2Go and can also be seen at the team's official watch parties at area Johnny's Tavern locations.
Four days later, Sporting KC resumes MLS action when the team hosts D.C. United in a clash of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference. The match, sponsored by U.S. Bank, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT at Sporting Park and a limited number of tickets remain available via Ticketmaster.com. SKCTV's coverage, available across the Midwest, begins at 7 p.m. CT.
A new edition of The Sporting KC Show will air at 7:40 p.m. CT on Wednesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB with hosts Callum Williams and Carter Augustine. Fans can listen live on 810 AM, 810whb.com or via the station's free mobile app, and can also join the discussion by calling 913-3-810-810.
On Thursday, Sporting Kansas City midfielders Graham Zusi and Antonio Dovale will make a special appearance at the Price Chopper (4950 Roe Blvd.) in Roeland Park from 5-6:30 p.m. CT in conjunction with Red Bull Kansas City. Both players will be available for photo and autograph opportunities throughout the event.
On Sunday, The recordBar will host a benefit concert for The Victory Project featuring the Starhaven Rounders and Gary Kirkland. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with Sporting KC players and bid on auction items during the event from 7-10 p.m. CT. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.
