MLS SuperDraft to conclude on Tuesday

Major League Soccer will conclude the 2015 MLS SuperDraft Tuesday afternoon. Rounds three and four will take place via conference call at 1 p.m. CT. Barring any trades, Sporting Kansas City will select twice on Tuesday with the No. 11 pick in each round (53rd and 73rd overall).

Peter Vermes drafted three players in the first two rounds of the SuperDraft last Thursday in Philadelphia. Vermes used his three first round selections on University of California - Berkeley midfielder Connor Hallisey, University of Akron defender Saad Adbul-Salaam and Clemson University defender Amadou Dia. Hallisey and Abdul-Salaam signed contracts with MLS prior to the draft, while Dia will head to preseason looking to earn a roster spot with Sporting KC.

Sporting Kansas City traded its second round pick Thursday's SuperDraft to the Houston Dynamo for the rights to midfielder Servando Carrasco.

In 2014, Sporting KC drafted Peter Schmetz and Alex Martinez in the third round of the SuperDraft and Reinaldo Brenes in the fourth round. Martinez earned a contract and appeared in 10 regular season matches last year.
