96.5 the Buzz and Sporting Kansas City announced today that Alabama Shakes and Cage the Elephant will headline Buzz Beach Ball 2016.
Tickets for the annual event at Children’s Mercy Park will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 4. Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members will have access to an exclusive presale beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Buzz Beach Ball 2016 will be held July 16-17, marking the first time the show has been extended to a second day. Twenty-two artists have been confirmed for the two-day concert including Grammy-award winning blues rock group Alabama Shakes.
