Download Sporting KC Uphoria for free on the App Store and Google Play, then register an account via Twitter, Facebook and/or email. Don’t skip registration, or you won’t receive the full spectrum of perks the app has to offer.
So what can supporters expect from Uphoria when Sporting KC hosts Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the 2016 home opener on Saturday? And what should they look forward to throughout the year? Here’s everything you need to know about your Sporting KC mobile companion.
In-Stadium Concession Offers
Every time Dom Dwyer scores a goal this season at Children’s Mercy Park, Uphoria users in the stadium will receive an Offer Card for a free bottled soft drink with the purchase of a pretzel (available in sections 101, 114, 117, 127 and 129). An Offer Card functions much like a Groupon and is just as easy to use.

For Saturday’s match specifically, fans will have their fingers crossed for a first-half shutout. If Sporting KC keeps a clean sheet through 45 minutes, supporters will receive an Offer Card for half-price nachos at Champion Chips (section 119) during halftime. Match-goers at Children’s Mercy Park can expect a unique offer for each home game courtesy of Legends Hospitality. (Note: Season Ticket Members with a 5 percent concession discount cannot combine that discount with any existing Uphoria offers.)
Free Oreos from Price Chopper
Whether you attend Saturday’s match or not, all Uphoria users will receive an Offer Card coupon for a free box of Oreo cookies at Price Chopper locations in the Kansas City area. The offer will be valid Saturday through Monday.
Replay
Did you miss a great goal? A brilliant save? A red card? Fans in the stadium can use the Replay feature on Uphoria to relive the biggest moments of the match from up to six different camera angles. Later this year, supporters will have the ability to watch replays from two different camera angles at the same time.
Vote for Man of the Match, win a Rangers ticket
Shortly after the conclusion of Saturday's game, Uphoria will launch a Man of the Match poll where users can vote for the game's best player. Everyone — yes, everyone — who votes will receive a free ticket to the Swope Park Rangers' inaugural match on March 26 at Children's Mercy Park. The poll will remain open through Sunday at midnight, and voters will receive a push notification on Monday with further details on how to secure their free ticket.
#MySKCcam
MySKC Cam is a camera within Uphoria that allows users to capture their favorite game day moments regardless of location, add Sporting-themed overlays and instantly share photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Users can also store MySKC Cam photos to their smartphones or send them to Sporting KC, with entries being displayed on the Children’s Mercy Park video board throughout the match. Choose from a variety of filters, including a game-specific #SKCvVAN option, an #AllForTheCity spread and a No Other Pub overlay.
Experience Seat Upgrades
Looking to enrich your experience at Children’s Mercy Park? Ticket holders can access “Tix City Seat Options” in the left navigation menu to select from a variety of Experience Upgrades, including:
- VIP parking
- Post-game photos on the pitch
- Access to the Ameritas Shield Club, UMB Field Club and Boulevard Members Club
This feature will also allow fans to upgrade their seats during the first half, moving them closer to the action for the final 45 minutes.
Dynamic Live Stats
Users can access the “Details” page on the Uphoria home screen to view extensive live stats in a streamlined format. From lineups and formations to team stats, player stats and box scores, Uphoria provides all the details on match day.

Perks at No Other Pub
The new home for Sporting KC watch parties will be giving additional perks to Uphoria users. The day after Sporting KC wins, fans will receive an Offer Card for a free appetizer with a $20 purchase. At No Other Pub for a watch party? Share a MySKC Cam photo to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #NoOtherPub to be eligible for a No Other Pub gift card.
