Sporting Kansas City was on the road for Mother's Day this year, but that didn't stop players from taking time to write thoughtful letters to their mothers and wives.


We start with captain Matt Besler, who showcased his artistry by crafting a colorful letter for his mom and a lovely rose for his wife.

Next is Brad Davis, who drew inspiration from the children's book "Guess How Much I love You."

Roger Espinoza mixed each of his mother's terrific traits into a delectable ice cream cone, one we can assume is abundant in love.
