Sporting Kansas City (10-11-4, 34 points) fell 3-0 at the Portland Timbers on Sunday at Providence Park, dropping to fifth place in the Western Conference. The club remains on the road Saturday to face first-place FC Dallas (13-6-5, 44 points) at Toyota Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. CT with three hours of live television coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT on 38 The Spot and SKCTV. The Swope Park Rangers claimed a 1-1 draw at rivals Saint Louis FC last Wednesday to stay in seventh place in the USL's Western Conference. The Rangers (8-8-5, 29 points) will stay on the road Saturday when they face Real Monarchs SLC (6-11-4, 22 points) at 8 p.m. CT at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The contest will be streamed live on SportingKC.com as Marc Dos Santos' side plays its final away match before a five-game homestand.
