LISTEN: John Pascarella joins Sporting KC Show on 810 WHB

It goes without saying that this is a busy time for American soccer. With the U.S. Women's National Team in Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics, the U.S. Open Cup in the semifinals, the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League kicking off and the Major League Soccer season in full swing, you are likely able to watch a different soccer game involving American soccer teams almost every day of the week. Sporting KC is not immune to the busy soccer schedule with their SCCL campaign kicking off next Tuesday in Trinidad & Tobago following a Saturday match against MLS leaders FC Dallas.

To preview both matches as well as recap last Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Portland Timbers, Sporting KC goalkeeper coach John Pascarella joined Tuesday night's Sporting KC Show on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Pascarella covered a variety of topics including Tim Melia's recovery as well as the Alec Kann's performance in his previous two matches.

"He has not disappointed us at all," Pascarella said of Kann. "He is what we expected, both in training and in games. He's very professional. He is one of those guys that does his homework and is very prepared."
