Is a return to the national team in the cards for Sporting KC midfielder Benny Feilhaber? It’s looking more likely according to U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Bruce Arena. In a #FanFriday Facebook Live chat, Arena listed potential MLS players that could feature in the upcoming January camp.
When asked about potential MLS players that will feature next month, Arena responded:
“A couple players that haven’t been around for a bit will be back in camp, an example will be Benny Feilhaber.”
The 2010 World Cup veteran has 41 international appearances, but has not been selected for a national team camp since the 2014 January Camp. He recently signed a new, two-year contract with Sporting KC after finishing 2016 with seven goals and 13 assists.
