Benny Feilhaber gave that quote to The Kansas City Star's Sam McDowell ahead of the club's two game stretch at Portland and Dallas. Things could not have gotten off to a better start, however, as Sporting KC went to Providence Park and came away with a deserved 1-0 victory over the Timbers. The team now has its sights set on Dallas, the defending Open Cup and Supporters' Shield champions, who sit just one point behind Sporting KC in the Western Conference standings.
To preview Saturday's clash between the two Western Conference powers, Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine spoke with national MLS writer and Dallas TV commentator Steve Davis on Tuesday's Sporting KC Radio Show.
