Sporting KC Manager Peter Vermes does not mince words. On The Program this morning with 810 WHB's Soren Petro, the Sporting KC Manager spoke about a halftime speech that he gave Jimmy Medranda during last weekend's 3-0 win over Minnesota United FC.
"I don't think that he was doing the things that we had talked about and that we trained during the week in the first half," Vermes said of Medranda. "To say the least, I wasn't very happy with it. I explained to him that 'Look, I think this is a simple one. You have a role to play. This is what it is and you have to go perform it.' What I really liked about it is it's never easy for a player to hear that and his response, it's not because he scored a goal but it's the way he scored the goal to follow the play."
