It's been a busy week for Sporting KC captain Matt Besler. After traveling with the U.S. MNT to Mexico City for a World Cup qualifier against rival Mexico, Besler and teammate Graham Zusi returned to KC on Monday to begin preparations for two games in four days. The first game comes tonight when Sporting KC hosts Minnesota United FC in the fourth round of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Besler joined Steven St. John and Nate Bukaty on The Border Patrol this morning to discuss tonight's match as well as the U.S. MNT's historic draw in Mexico. He also shared a great anecdote about why Bradley's chip over goalkeeper Memo Ochoa didn't surprise him at all.
