Sporting Kansas City enters tonight’s U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 clash against the Houston Dynamo with just one name on the club’s injury report.
Midfielder Benny Feilhaber is listed as out with a lower leg/ankle injury, sustained in a reckless challenge from the LA Galaxy’s Nathan Smith in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over the Californians. Erik Palmer-Brown, who had been on the club’s injury report the last three games, is no longer listed.
As of last weekend, the Dynamo are without defender George Malki with a torn ACL and midfielder Eric Alexander, who has a MCL sprain.
Today’s match will kick off at 5:30 p.m. CT from BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. A live stream will be available on SportingKC.com.
